Island wide English Day
As per the circular of the Ministry of Education, English Day was held in our school on 23rd of May 2011.Students actively participated in many events. Teachers and students used English language largely, in the classes. To mark this day the Morning Assembly was held in English. The following events were taken place.
1.Introduction of the programme – By Mrs.S.Sritharan (English Teacher)
2.News Reading – “Sources of Information”.S.Dulakshi.Gr.10
3.Speech – Mrs.J.Maheswaran (English Teacher)
Teacher explained the purpose of the programme and the importance of English
Further more” English Union was held on this day. Students performed varieties of programmes. The Agenda is as follows,

Mrs.P.Nagaratnam appreciated students’ performances and their enthusiasm. She encouraged them to use English language in their everyday activities.
